AdBlue Delete Service
AdBlue Warning Light or No-Start Countdown?
Mobile AdBlue diagnostics and ECU software assessment across West & North London.
AdBlue fault help when your car or van is becoming unusable
If your vehicle has an AdBlue warning light, limp mode, NOx sensor fault or a no-start countdown, the priority is simple: confirm the real cause, explain the options, and get you moving again without guessing at expensive parts.
- No-start countdown: Dashboard warning showing miles remaining before the vehicle will not restart.
- Limp mode or power loss: Reduced torque, limited performance or engine management light linked to SCR faults.
- NOx sensor / SCR codes: Common on BMW, Mercedes, Audi, VW, Ford, Vauxhall and many vans.
- Expensive dealer quote: Pumps, tanks, heaters and NOx sensors can become costly on high-mileage diesels.

Frequently Asked Questions
The most frequent faults are: AdBlue pump failure, NOx sensor degradation (upstream or downstream), tank heater failure in cold weather, and AdBlue injector clogging. SCR module communication faults and fluid quality errors (from using incorrect or contaminated AdBlue) are also common triggers for warning lights and countdown issues.
We start with diagnostics, fault-code checks and a discussion of how the vehicle is used. We then explain the available options, including repair routes and software assessment where legally appropriate.
If the countdown is caused by an SCR or AdBlue system fault, it can usually be resolved after diagnosis and the correct repair or software route. We confirm the cause before any work is carried out.
Most AdBlue diagnostic and software assessment visits take about 1 hour, depending on the vehicle, ECU type and fault condition.
Yes. We can assess road-use repair options and only discuss delete-style software work where the vehicle use and legal context make it appropriate, such as off-road, motorsport or export applications.
We work with many Euro 5 and Euro 6 diesel vehicles fitted with SCR systems, including BMW, Mercedes, Audi, VW, Ford, Vauxhall, Land Rover and many vans and light commercial vehicles.
Where ECU software is changed, we save a backup of the original factory file before writing anything so the vehicle can be returned to its original calibration if required.
If the issue is correctly diagnosed and the right route is chosen, SCR-related warning lights and countdown behaviour should not continue. Unrelated faults can still appear and are treated separately.
