Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to BSG Automotive Limited’s introductions and booking-support service. BSG operates as a remapping network: we introduce customers to independent tuners who supply the ECU software, diagnostics, coding, calibration and related vehicle services. Please read these terms before booking. They do not affect rights that the law gives consumers.

Road-use and emissions notice. BSG Automotive does not supply, install or enable an emissions-system delete, bypass or defeat for a vehicle used on a road or in a public place. This includes removal, disabling or reduced effectiveness of a DPF, GPF, catalytic converter, EGR, SCR/AdBlue system, NOx sensor or related emissions-control software. A customer declaration does not make unlawful work lawful.

1. Who we are and how to contact us

“BSG”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean BSG Automotive Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15992694). Our registered office is 182–184 High Street North, Office 17608, London, England, E6 2JA.

You can contact us at office@bsgautomotive.co.uk, on 07554 945 401, or through our contact page. “You” means the customer booking or receiving the services. If you book for a business, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it.

2. Quotes, bookings and contract

Website information and estimates are invitations to treat, not offers. A quote is based on the vehicle and information available at the time and may change if inspection, diagnostic checks or the vehicle specification identifies additional work, incompatibility or a safety/legal concern.

BSG does not supply tuning services and is not party to the contract for those services. Before you are bound, we will identify the independent tuner who will supply the service and provide their relevant contact details. Your contract for tuning work, including the price set and confirmed by BSG, scope, performance, cancellation rights, warranty and complaints, is directly with that independent tuner when they accept your booking. BSG’s role is limited to introducing you and, where agreed, providing booking support.

2A. Our remapping network and independent tuners

BSG is a remapping network, not a tuning workshop or service supplier. Independent tuners in our network may provide mobile attendance, diagnostics, software reading/writing, calibration, coding or technical support in their own capacity. They are not BSG employees, agents or subcontractors.

Each independent tuner is responsible for the services they agree to provide, including using reasonable care and skill, compliance with applicable law, insurance, warranty, cancellations and handling service-related complaints. BSG does not supervise the performance of their work or give a warranty for it.

To make an introduction or support a booking, BSG may share the information reasonably needed with a proposed tuner, such as your contact details, vehicle registration, vehicle technical information, location and requested work scope. This is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

3. Prices, deposits and payment

BSG sets and confirms the price, deposit, payment method and any cancellation charge for tuning services arranged through our network. These will be confirmed to you before you are bound. An independent tuner may not change the agreed price without BSG’s and your agreement. If BSG receives money on a tuner’s behalf, we will tell you clearly that we are acting only as a disclosed payment-collection intermediary; receipt by BSG will be treated as receipt by that tuner to the extent stated at payment.

Any separate fee charged by BSG for an introduction or booking-support service will be disclosed before it becomes payable.

4. Your responsibilities

5. Vehicle condition, diagnostics and results

The independent tuner will agree the scope of their work directly with you. Unless that tuner expressly agrees otherwise, tuning work is not a mechanical inspection, a repair service or a guarantee that all faults are identified.

Software changes may expose existing wear, defects, weak components, third-party modifications or prior software changes. Performance figures are estimates and can vary with vehicle condition, fuel, weather, hardware and test method. Any suitability assessment, diagnostic advice, performance claim, technical decision or decision to stop work is the independent tuner’s responsibility, not BSG’s.

6. Emissions, road use and off-road applications

BSG does not introduce customers to a tuner for work intended to remove, bypass, defeat or reduce the effectiveness of manufacturer-fitted emissions-control equipment on a road-going vehicle. This includes DPF or GPF deletion, de-catting, EGR deletion, SCR/AdBlue deletion, emissions-sensor defeat, or software intended to conceal or defeat emissions controls for road or public-place use.

BSG may consider an introduction for a specialist request solely for a genuine non-road vehicle or a closed-course competition vehicle only where it is assessed and approved by us in writing before any work begins. The vehicle must be used exclusively away from roads and public places, and the work must be lawful in the relevant jurisdiction. We may require evidence of its non-road status and may decline the request. No customer statement, SORN status, MOT status or label by itself changes the law or creates an obligation for BSG to provide the work.

You remain responsible for the vehicle's lawful use, registration, insurance, testing and operation. For authoritative guidance, see the DVSA MOT inspection manual and GOV.UK guidance on catalytic converters and DPFs.

7. Consumer cancellation rights

Any statutory cancellation rights relating to tuning services are rights against the independent tuner that supplies them. The tuner must give you the required pre-contract information, including any cancellation rights, before you are bound. Where a service or digital content is to begin within a cancellation period, the tuner must obtain any consent and acknowledgement required by law.

Nothing in these terms removes statutory remedies that you may have against the independent tuner. If you have a question about a booking, BSG may help pass it on, but this does not make BSG the service supplier or responsible for the tuner’s response.

8. Warranty and corrections

Any warranty, guarantee, correction or remedy for tuning services is provided by the independent tuner and should be set out in that tuner’s terms or written confirmation. BSG does not give a warranty for tuning services performed by an independent tuner.

If you believe there is a problem with tuning work, contact the independent tuner directly. You may also tell BSG and we may facilitate communication, but BSG is not obliged to inspect, repeat, correct or pay for the tuner’s work.

9. Our responsibility to you

BSG is not responsible for the performance, delay, cancellation, acts or omissions of an independent tuner, or for any loss arising from tuning services supplied under your separate contract with that tuner. BSG is responsible only for its own introduction and booking-support service, and only for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of BSG’s breach of these terms or negligence. We are not responsible for business losses where you are a consumer.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by BSG’s negligence, or BSG’s fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

10. Data, third parties and website information

We handle personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. BSG may use specialist software and data providers to operate its introduction and booking-support service. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services that we do not control. Website content is general information and is not technical, legal, insurance or financial advice for a particular vehicle.

11. Complaints, law and changes

Service-related complaints must be sent to the independent tuner identified in your booking confirmation. You may contact BSG at office@bsgautomotive.co.uk about our introduction or booking-support service, or if you need the tuner’s contact details repeated.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident in the UK, you may bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the UK in which you live. We may update these terms for future bookings; the version in force when your contract is made applies to that contract. If a court finds any part invalid, the rest remains in force.
